Fine-dined out, I decide on a burger at the bar and stumble upon minced utopia: a succulent, medium-rare beauty made with organic Coleman beef, dripping with must-mop juices and accessorised with truffled fries. I’m not alone in my reverence: I’m told its popularity has spawned a Larkburger outpost in nearby Edwards. The sommelier arrives and pairs it with a stunning Georges Duboeuf Brouilly Beaujolais, which instantly brings my attention to the wine list and the 7500-bottle cellar, which must be the best in town."
