Eating Outdoors at Larkspur’s Restaurants in Vail
We think it’s safe to say that 2020 has changed many of the routine activities that we used to do without giving them much of a thought. Going to see the latest movie with a bucket of popcorn, joining friends for a drink to watch the game and seeing a concert in the summertime—all of these things have changed. And one of the biggest areas of change is how we eat out. While the traditional way of dining out has certainly changed, it’s still possible to enjoy breakfast or an après ski drink—it just looks a little different. Here’s how our guests at Larkspur Events & Dining in Vail, Colorado can enjoy eating and drinking out during this time.
Soak Up the Views on Our Outdoor Patio
One of our favorite spaces is our outdoor mountainside patio, which is surrounded by views of the slopes at Golden Peak and the Gore Mountain Range. With patio heaters and tables six feet apart, you can safely and warmly enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine any time of day. It’s a great way to celebrate at the end of the day.
Skip the Line and Order Ahead
Instead of having to wait in line for your food or drinks, you can now order ahead using our online ordering system. Simply go to our ordering page, choose your time and menu selections, and complete your purchase online. Then breeze into our to-go market, and pick up your order.
Grab Food in Our To-Go Market
Speaking of our market, we offer a wide selection of breakfast and lunch items from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy a bacon burrito or a croissant before hitting the slopes. Stop in during the day for some butter-roasted french fries, a Tillamook grilled cheese sandwich or a “larksburger.” You may also order alcoholic beverages through the market. You must purchase food along with your beverages, and you must be 21; we’ll check IDs at pickup.
Linger with Company for Après Ski Happy Hour in Vail
After a long day, or even a short day, of hitting the slopes, join us on our patio for après ski. The term ”après ski” is European for “after ski,” and it refers to the social activities that occur after a day on the slopes. Skiing tends to be an individual sport even though you may share your ski stories heading up the chairlift. So to gather at the end of the day with your ski partners and really share your day over a drink and some food is an après-ski experience that you don’t want to miss.
Enjoy Table-Side Service
Another option for dining on our patio is our table-side service. Browse through our lunch menu, and our wait staff will be happy to bring your order. Our lunch service is currently available until 4:30 p.m.
Find a Drink from Our Cocktail Menu
We’re sure you’ll find something magical to sip on in our specialty cocktail menu. We offer a variety of drinks, from 919s to Aperol spritzes to smoky mountain manhattans. For those guests who prefer it, we also have a nice selection of wine and local beer.
When Dining In Returns
When it’s safe to dine inside once again, we’ll be here waiting to serve you our exquisite cuisine. In addition to our après ski and lunch menu, we accept gatherings of 10 or more in our restaurant that hosts an open kitchen.
Located just steps from the Riba Bahn ski lift at the base of Golden Peak, we’re within walking distance of many establishments in the Vail Valley. From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., you can park at the Golden Peak skier drop off parking lot for an hour with validation. You can also use Vail’s local bus service, which runs throughout the town.
